CINELLI BIKES WARRANTY

When you register your bike you will receive a FREE Cinelli water bottle (RRP £9.99), this will be posted to your registration address within 5 days of registration.

To register your bike you must be the original owner, second hand bikes cannot be registered. For full warranty information please see the above tab.

Your unique frame number required for registration can be found underneath the frame near the bottom bracket, see examples below. Can’t find your frame number? contact us.

• Cinelli bicycle frames and forks – covered for 5 years from the date of purchase.
• Original Cinelli brand component parts – covered for 2 years from the date of purchase.
• Original Cinelli Frame & Fork paint finish and decals – covered for 1 year from the date of purchase.
• All other component parts - covered exclusively by the stated warranty of their original manufacturer.

As the original owner of the bike or frameset, you can register the warranty. You must have made your purchase from an authorised Cinelli retailer, directly from us, Cinelli Bikes, or from our distributor Chicken CycleKit. Secondhand bikes and frames cannot be registered.

The warranty is conditional on your bike being operated under normal conditions and maintained in accordance with the maintenance schedule detailed in the section below.

If purchasing from an authorised retailer your bike or frameset will be inspected by a qualified mechanic before sale. A professional bike mechanic should also inspect your bike or frame between 0 and 3 months of purchase, and again every year or every 2500km, whichever comes first.

If you purchase a bike directly from us you should follow the instructions given in the quick start guide before your first ride. If you are unsure in any way about setting up your bike, you should take your bike to your local professional mechanic. Any issues resulting from failure to set the bike up correctly could result in your warranty being deemed invalid.

The above warranty, or any implied warranty, does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear on parts such as tyres, chains, brakes, cables and gearwheels in situations where there are no assembly or material defects.
• Bicycles serviced by anyone other than a qualified cycle technician.
• Modifications from the original specification.
• Use of the bicycle for abnormal, competition and/or commercial activities or for purposes other than those for which the bicycle was designed.
• Damage caused by failing to follow the quick start guide, included with every bike purchased from us directly, or failing to seek advice from a professional bicycle mechanic if you are unsure about setting up your bike before your first ride.
• Paint finish and decal damage resulting from taking part in competitions, jumping, downhill and/or training for such activities or events or as a result of exposing the bike to, or riding the bike in, severe conditions or climates.
• If you purchase a RAW, ready-to-paint (RTP) Cinelli Frame or Fork, it should only be painted by a specialist Professional bicycle painter. Custom paint should be applied within 6 months of ownership/before use, whichever comes first. If you do not have your frame painted by a professional you will invalidate your 5 year frame & fork warranty.

We recommend not only registering your warranty after purchase, but also keeping a copy of your purchase receipt. We will need to see this in the event of a warranty claim.

If you have your Cinelli frame or fork custom painted, you should always retain your receipt from your Professional Painter, as we would need to see it in the event of any warranty claim.

The sole remedy under the above Cinelli UK warranty, or any implied warranty, is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Cinelli UK. This warranty extends from the date of purchase by the original owner to the applicable anniversary date of the date of purchase set out above, applies only to the original owner, and is not transferable. In no event shall Cinelli UK be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty negligence, product liability, or any other notion.

Cinelli UK total liability under this warranty shall in no circumstances exceed £5,000,000.
